Devotional:
When God speaks, His Word is true. Sometimes, we can get so used to hearing the Word, we forget how weighty and precious it is. Almost equilibrating the voice of the Lord to one of our friends. Not realizing that His Words cause movement and theirs can cause stagnancy.
If you don’t receive The Word of the Lord in your heart, you reject it. And those who reject the Lord’s Word, are indeed rejected by Him. (1 Samuel 15:23) On a spiritual level, it shows God that your heart is full of pride. Though you may not intend this, that is how it’s perceived. Because how could you resist God’s perfect plan for your life? For your situation?
It’s time we see God’s Word in a new way. His Word is precious. His Word moves mountains. His Word calms a troubled and weary soul. And more importantly, His Word is eternal.
