Devotional:
Truth is, God desires to be your everything. He wants to be your friend, your protector and so much more. But the emotional boundaries we set, limits His adaptability in our lives.
There are times when we look to the world to fill these roles, and it ends badly. Maybe the once beautiful romance, turns sour. Or the once trusted friendship, turns into an unforgivable act of betrayal. Regardless of which, most of us end up more damaged than before.
But what if we were to open ourselves up to God, the way we do for others? What if we were to dedicate as much time in His presence as we do in others? How would the experience of life be for you? How would your perspective shift?
You won’t know, until you “Let Him in…”
