  • Your NEW Uncomfortable

Devotional: One lesson I learned pretty early on in life was to become comfortable with being uncomfortable. Sounds like a mouthful right? But it’s so true! The only thing consistent in this life is change, and if we continue to resist the ebb and flow of it, we only sabotage ourselves. For further clarification, the ebb and flow of change is discomfort. You can’t grow without being uncomfortable, period. What happens when you do this, but struggle in a new season of uncomfortableness? At some point what once was uncomfortable becomes comfortable again right? But what about when the level of uncomfortability changes, what do you do? How do you navigate the transition from one season to the next? Well first, you have to recognize that things have changed. Naturally, you will resist these changes at first, but upon recognition, you should pivot your perspective. Your pivot point will be based on the guidance of the Holy Spirit. He is there for a reason! Ask questions on how to navigate and include Him in on everything. From there, your new season of discomfort becomes manageable and fruitful. Bringing you both new skills and growth. Scripture(s) Meditation: “Not that I speak in regard to need, for I have learned in whatever state I am, to be content: I know how to be abased, and I know how to abound. Everywhere and in all things I have learned both to be full and to be hungry, both to abound and to suffer need. I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.” ‭‭Philippians‬ ‭4‬:‭11‬-‭13‬ ‭NKJV‬‬ Song(s) Meditation: Comfort Zone by Marvin Sapp To listen to today's song meditation, click here. Reflection Question(s): We invite you to discuss below. What is your current season of discomfort? How are you finding balance/contentment where you are now? If you aren’t, what is your plan to get there? Sun’Ray 💕

  • YOUR MOMENT OF ELEVATION... ✈️

Devotional: There are those moments where there is great stillness in the air. Where it’s so peaceful, so quiet, that you can hear a pen drop. In the realm of the spirit, these represents periods of great change. Periods of rapid manifestations. Moments after which, nothing can ever remain the same. Leading up to this moment, there may be great strife and contention. Call these last minute efforts of the enemy to shift you out of alignment with God’s spirit. It’s vital you separate from the noise and distractions of life, to hear clearly your next instruction. Be void of useless chatter and meaningless activity. Every step during this time, is crucial for what comes next. And as you hear the peaceful song of the birds in the midst of such stillness, know that in any instant, you too will suddenly take flight. “Arise afflicted one, for the Lord has heard your cry. The place of confinement will no longer be your dwelling place but will be a distant memory of the past. Welcome to your new life…” Scripture(s) Meditation: “I waited patiently for the LORD; he turned to me and heard my cry. He lifted me out of the slimy pit, out of the mud and mire; he set my feet on a rock and gave me a firm place to stand. He put a new song in my mouth, a hymn of praise to our God. Many will see and fear the LORD and put their trust in him.” Psalm 40:1-3 NIV ""Whether you turn to the right or to the left, your ears will hear a voice behind you, saying, “This is the way; walk in it.”" Isaiah 30:21 NIV Song(s) Meditation: Comin' Out by Jonathan McReynolds To listen to today's song meditation, click here. A NOW Prophetic Word: THIS is your moment of Elevation!! (4/17/2023) To listen to the Prophetic Word, click here. Reflection Question(s): We invite you to discuss below. In what areas do you see the hand of God at work in your life? What does this sudden activity signify for you? How does it relate to what God has spoken to you concerning this season? Sun'Ray💕

  • The Simple Things

Devotional: While in college, there were many courses that greatly challenged my mind. The higher level the course, the greater the challenge. At times, I noticed the more knowledge I acquired, the more difficult it was to find a simple solution. When I found myself struggling, it wasn’t the added knowledge that helped me. It was, the simple things. As believers, we should strive to grow into mighty, righteous trees. Trees that display the glory of God and draw in those who need His touch. But our growth should never come at the expense of our roots. What do I mean? Our desire to reach as high as the clouds, should not pull our roots out of the ground. Instead, as we increase in height, our roots should increase in depth. When many of us first came to Christ, it was those simple things that helped to firmly establish us in Him. While we may now have more experiences, wisdom and revelation, those things should only be an extension of our foundation. Sometimes, we have to take our heads out of the clouds and come back down to the ground. Remember, it’s the simple things that create lasting intimacy… Scripture(s) Meditation: “Then you will call on me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart.” Jeremiah 29:12-13 NIV Song(s) Meditation: Basic by Jonathan McReynolds To listen to today's song meditation, click here. Reflection Question(s): We invite you to discuss below. Take some time to reflect. What were those things that first drew you close to God? What was your prayer life like then? Did you notice great effectiveness in simplicity? How can you bring the simple things into your now? Sun'Ray💕

  • The Lord, my comforter

Devotional: Sometimes, it’s easier to just keep going. Instead of taking a pause and allowing the Lord to nurse your wounds, you find more peace in bleeding. Though this may sound counterintuitive, this is the reality many of God’s children are facing. They are finding themselves pressed in on all sides and seeing no option to just simply heal. Truth is, God is a comforter. When in times of trouble, He desires for us to seek His warm embrace. But sometimes, the very cares and woes of life that has wounded us, are now the barriers that keep us from receiving His comfort. If you are currently in this place, I want to encourage you to surrender your situation to Him. Let go of every plan and simply go back to that place of blindly trusting Him. Putting off your healing, only damages you more. You must realize it's His presence that heals you. It's time you allow yourself to be repaired, restored and renewed. But this can only happen when you choose to welcome and embrace God’s comforting presence… Scripture(s) Meditation: “Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves receive from God.” 2 Corinthians 1:3-4 NIV "As a mother comforts her child, so will I comfort you; and you will be comforted over Jerusalem.” Isaiah 66:13 NIV Song(s) Meditation: Carried Me by Marvin Sapp To listen to today's song meditation, click here. Reflection Question(s): We invite you to discuss below. What keeps you from resting in the comforting presence of God? Have you ever been able to rest in His comfort? In your childhood, how did you find comfort in times of trouble? How can you invite God into that same technique to help you now? Sun'Ray💕

  • Hills in the valley

Devotional: Everyone in someway, has their eye set on the mountaintop. A relentless pursuit, fueled by an innate desire to say they have finally “made it.” But while everyone claws to reach the pinnacle of their success, they miss the true beauty of their process. Failing to realize, that the valley has hills. These hills may not be  the mountains most seek, but there’s many valuable lessons learned there. If you focus too intently on the mountain, you’ll miss the lusciousness of the valley. It’s not just the most fertile land, but it’s also the most fertile in knowledge, wisdom and understanding. In God’s process, what you consume in the valley determines your sustainability on the mountaintop. It teaches you how to handle the highs and lows of life before there’s a higher cost to pay. (Higher mountains, higher falls) So this year, learn to embrace the hills in the valley and the lessons that come with them. Scripture(s) Meditation: ”Every valley shall be raised, And every mountain and hill be made low; And let the rough ground become a plain, And the rugged places a broad valley.“ Isaiah 40:4 AMP Song(s) Meditation: The Climb by Miley Cyrus To listen to today's song meditation, click here. Reflection Question(s): We invite you to discuss below. What is the mountain you seek? How has your focus for the mountain stunted your growth in God’s process. How can this be changed? Sun'Ray💕

  • Let Him In

Devotional: Truth is, God desires to be your everything. He wants to be your friend, your protector and so much more. But the emotional boundaries we set, limits His adaptability in our lives. There are times when we look to the world to fill these roles, and it ends badly. Maybe the once beautiful romance, turns sour. Or the once trusted friendship, turns into an unforgivable act of betrayal. Regardless of which, most of us end up more damaged than before. But what if we were to open ourselves up to God, the way we do for others? What if we were to dedicate as much time in His presence as we do in others? How would the experience of life be for you? How would your perspective shift? You won’t know, until you “Let Him in…” Scripture(s) Meditation: ”I will make My dwelling among you, and My soul will not reject nor separate itself from you. I will walk among you and be your God, and you shall be My people.“ Leviticus 26:11-12 AMP Song(s) Meditation: My Worship by The Walls Group To listen to today's song meditation, click here. Reflection Question(s): We invite you to discuss below. Answer the questions above then examine how you’ll “let Him in” this year. Sun'Ray💕

  • MUST READ‼️

Hey Family! I am so grateful that God has blessed us all to see another year. Tremendous things are up ahead for this ministry and I'm excited to see all God will do. As of right now, I won't be hosting Bible Study this week. However, stay connected so you don't miss any future updates. This year, let's remember to take care of ourselves. What good is a HOLEY vessel? May we be WHOLY (whole/holy) this 2024. Listen to this song, it's on my heart. Sincerely, Sun'Ray 💕

  • Counting my blessings

Devotional: As we begin this new year, it’s important we establish the pace of it. Will we be more concerned about what God will give us, or relish in what He’s already done? In 2023, I saw the lowest point of my life, but prevailed. I no longer allowed my perspective to shackle me. Because as long as I saw everything as not working, that’s what it would be. I stopped letting my emotions get the best of me and broke free. This year, you must learn to count your blessings. Don’t focus on all the ways things are going wrong, but instead see what has gone right. God has been so good to you and your current circumstance doesn’t change that. Don’t allow bitterness to take root in your heart. Instead, choose to be grateful. Scripture(s) Meditation: ”In every situation [no matter what the circumstances] be thankful and continually give thanks to God; for this is the will of God for you in Christ Jesus.“ 1 Thessalonians 5:18 AMP Song(s) Meditation: Counting my blessings by Eric Bellinger To listen to today's song meditation, click here. Reflection Question(s): We invite you to discuss below. Count your blessings. Write them down and thank God for them. Sun'Ray💕

  • All eyes on you...

Devotional: How does one stay afloat, when the circumstances of life are greater than the density of water? When Jehoshaphat had a vast army rise against him, he found himself in this exact position. Where he could have sunk underneath the pressure, he sought a different solution. Instead of leaning on his own strength, he leaned on his community. They all came together to fast, pray and seek the Lord. Though he did not see a way out, he trusted that God would create one. In his heart, he set his eyes on Him. By setting his eyes on God, He trusted that God’s sight would go beyond what he could see. And from that posture of complete surrender, God assured him the victory. When you find yourself weighed down by the woes of life, set your eyes on God… Scripture(s) Meditation: “Our God, will you not judge them? For we have no power to face this vast army that is attacking us. We do not know what to do, but our eyes are on you.” 2 Chronicles 20:12 NIV ”Lord, my heart is not proud, nor my eyes haughty; Nor do I involve myself in great matters, Or in things too difficult for me. Surely I have calmed and quieted my soul; Like a weaned child [resting] with his mother, My soul is like a weaned child within me [composed and freed from discontent].“ Psalms 131:1-2 AMP Song(s) Meditation: Our eyes are on you by Tasha Cobbs Leonard To listen to today's song meditation, click here. Reflection Question(s): We invite you to discuss below. What are the things or circumstances that take your eyes off God? How do you return your gaze back to Him? Sun'Ray💕
