You are ready
God has called you to something and you look around and say, “who me?” You look at your life and all you’ve been through and say ,” Well, can’t you choose someone else?” You aren’t alone, because when it was Moses’ time to be called he did the same thing. Along with Gideon, Esther and countless others. Let this devotional serve as encouragement to remind you that you are ready.
In the world, we have gotten ourselves to believe that certifications meets God’s qualifications. Just because a person has a degree in a certain area doesn’t mean they have been qualified by God. To reach people, to break chains off people? This requires the anointing. Which only comes through the qualification process of God.
A qualification from God doesn’t come easy. You must experience a true pressing of the soul to release the anointing that lies deep within you. It’s the anointing that qualifies a person and this is what has qualified you. So though you may not see why God has chosen you, know that He has.
To someone reading this, I want you to know that you are ready. God has allowed you to go through the trials and tribulations you’ve been through to qualify you for this moment. You may feel unequipped, but know that God equips those whom He calls. Renounce the imposter syndrome and step fully into what God has asked of you.
Remember, you are ready.
“But Moses again pleaded, “Lord, please! Send anyone else.””
Exodus 4:13 NLT
“It shall come to pass in that day That his burden will be taken away from your shoulder, And his yoke from your neck, And the yoke will be destroyed because of the anointing oil.”
Isaiah 10:27 NKJV
“may he equip you with all you need for doing his will. May he produce in you, through the power of Jesus Christ, every good thing that is pleasing to him. All glory to him forever and ever! Amen.”
Hebrews 13:21 NLT
