As we begin this new year, it’s important we establish the pace of it. Will we be more concerned about what God will give us, or relish in what He’s already done?
In 2023, I saw the lowest point of my life, but prevailed. I no longer allowed my perspective to shackle me. Because as long as I saw everything as not working, that’s what it would be. I stopped letting my emotions get the best of me and broke free.
This year, you must learn to count your blessings. Don’t focus on all the ways things are going wrong, but instead see what has gone right. God has been so good to you and your current circumstance doesn’t change that. Don’t allow bitterness to take root in your heart. Instead, choose to be grateful.
”In every situation [no matter what the circumstances] be thankful and continually give thanks to God; for this is the will of God for you in Christ Jesus.“
1 Thessalonians 5:18 AMP
