Devotional:
There are times, where you may find yourself running frantically in life. No matter how much you try and relax, your mind continues to run on the hamster wheel. While in this place, it’s easy to feel helpless and trapped. But God gives us a simple solution when He says, “Be still and know.”
You see, most of us are like a coin when it first hits the ground. Instead of immediately surrendering to the weight of gravity, we find ourselves fighting it. Which in turn leaves us, depleted of energy and even void of emotion. But regardless of its fight, there’s that one moment where the coin must simply, “be still.”
The truth is, many of you currently find yourself in this exact position. Where you are running from what is, maybe because you miss what was. But, it’s time for you to surrender to the weight of God on your life and allow Him to have His way.
I mean, He’s the one in control anyways, right?
